Proposed Junior College in Parkers Prairie, 1968

This is a rather interesting document from 1968. Mayor George Revering wrote the introductory letter for this informational packet that sought to have a junior college located in Parkers Prairie. It is followed by a letter of support from the Parkers Praire School Board Chairman Carold Hilgren. This is followed by information about the town and why it would be a good location. Included in this information is: demographics, maps, potential students, a proposed site, and who to contact for additional information. One very interesting aspect included is the number of local businesses. This is on page eight of the packet and definitely worth perusing. Click on the image above to open the file.
